COLLABORATE TO PRAISE

WE COLLABORATE TO PRAISE

by Pastor Greg Simon

Believers are a part of God’s worship team. During the congregational worship on Sunday morning, we all have a part to play. The frontline may sing with a microphone and the band may play from the platform, but ALL of us together elevate Christ Jesus in our midst. Our gathered worship is a dynamic, collaborative effort. Our corporate response pleases the heart of God.

“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His possession, so that you may proclaim the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9 HCSB).” As God’s royal priests, let us offer sacrifices of something meaningful and valuable. Enter the sanctuary with a focus to proclaim His praises!

A live, in-person worship experience is once again available on Sunday at 10AM at Valley Fellowship Church. Extra precautions include screening, physical distancing, and face masks.

SCREENING REQUIRED

During this recovery season, we will SCREEN EVERY INDIVIDUAL that comes to the campus. Screening involves a temperature check, and the ability to answer “NO” to the following questions:

  • Have you been around anyone who has tested positive to covid-19 within the past 14 days?
  • Has anyone in your home exhibited symptoms such as fever, diarrhea, or headaches, lethargy and vomiting in the past 24 hours?

Please, screen yourself before coming to church.

SOCIAL DISTANCING: We will practice physical distancing. Families may group and sit together. Please, use common courtesy and stay 6 feet away, front, back and to the side of other individuals outside of your family unit. Please, wear a face mask.

LIMITED CHILDCARE: At this time, NO NUSERY is available for children under 36 months. Babies and young children may remain with parents in the sanctuary with a parent during the 10AM service.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY: During the 10AM service, children (3-years-old through 5th Grade) meet in the Cafeteria Building (building two). Pastor Ruthie leads the KidMin team welcoming the young ones. Drop off and pickup for children’s services are at the double-glass doors of the cafeteria building. All children will be screened before entering.

Parents drop their kids off at the screening table but are NOT permitted past the screening area. Pickup is at the same location.

ONLY ONE ENTRANCE TO THE SANCTUARY: Enter through the MAIN ENTRANCE double-glass doors and/or handicap door available by the playground near Waxler Drive. Adults will be screened before entering the sanctuary. Every adult is to wear a face mask. If you are unable to wear a face mask, please continue to connect with us online.

LIMITED BUILDING ACCESS: There is limited access within our buildings. The downstairs area of the church sanctuary building (building one) is currently off-limits.

ALSO: VFC Youth reach out to Pastor Andrew and Pastor Angela for your updated plans. Tuesday Morning Onsite Intercession is meeting with Pastor Carol leading out (contact Pastor Carol for more details). No Wednesday night services will be in session at this time. We will try to keep you informed as circumstances change.
