Your Faith Matters

YOUR FAITH MATTERS

by Pastor Greg Simon

“Your faith matters!” Those were the words impressed upon my spirit as the pastors prayed together via a zoom meeting on Wednesday earlier this week. In this video below, I share more about what God revealed to me. This is a recording of the teaching from the Zoom Meeting of Valley Fellowship Church on Sunday, July 26, at 10AM. You are invited to join us next Sunday, August 2, as we once again meet via Zoom. Contact the church office for the meeting link and password.

Your faith matters! Powerful work is release as your faith mixes with the faith of another believer. As we come into agreement in faith, faith is stirred. Your faith bolsters another’s faith and vice versa. There is multiplied effect as we come together and agree with the Word of God and with one another. Deuteronomy (32:30) says of God’s army that ‘one man (could) chase a thousand, or two put ten thousand to flight’. Praying in agreement unleashes breakthroughs.

Jesus said, “Again I tell you, if two of you on earth agree (harmonize together, make a symphony together) about whatever [anything and everything] they may ask, it will come to pass and be done for them by My Father in heaven (Matthew 18:19 AMPC)”

Consider the shade of meaning revealed by the AMPC’s choice of “make a symphony“. When an orchestra is rehearsed and submitted to the conductor – a beautiful sound can be released. Well, Jesus Christ is the Conductor of harmonic musical flowing from our agreement together at Valley Fellowship. A symphony of prayer happens when our united voices say what God has said in His Word. Our agreement pushes back darkness and opens new doors of faith.

The early church’s corporate prayer in Acts 1:14 produced the corporate power they experienced in Acts 2:42-47. Corporate prayer brought corporate power in Acts 4:14-31. Follow their example and trust God to grant our request. Our faith matters. Our agreement opens the door for supernatural release. Let’s believe together that God hears and answers. Then, let’s pray with perseverance that Holy Spirit outpours so strongly that it becomes hard to go to hell from Huntsville, Alabama!
