Trust God, not flesh!

PASTOR GREG SIMON

Psalm 5:12 MEV
“For You, Lord, will bless the righteous; You surround him with favor like a shield.”

Psalms 118:8-9 MEV
“It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. 9 It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.”

Trust is not optional. Trust is foundational.

Proverbs 3:5-6 MEV
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.”

Psalm 5:12 MEV
“For You, Lord, will bless the righteous; You surround him with favor like a shield.”

God’s favor gives us promotion, protection, position, and prevailing strength.
Isaiah 54:17 MEV
“No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their vindication is from Me, says the Lord.”

Trust is the pathway to security.
Isaiah 26:3-4 NLT
“You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in You, all whose thoughts are fixed on You! 4 Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock.”

Psalm 28:7 AMPC
“The Lord is my Strength and my [impenetrable] Shield; my heart trusts in, relies on, and confidently leans on Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song will I praise Him.”
